Auctions /3 Comments

It's only clocked up 700 miles.

Kevin Hart clearly has an admiration for classic American muscle cars. The comedian recently paid a staggering $825,000 for a 1959 Chevrolet Corvette custom convertible, setting anew auction record. He also has an impressive collection of custom-built muscle cars, including the1,000-hp Speedkore Charger.

Now, Hart is parting ways with another one of his custom rides: a one-of-a-kind 1977Ford Bronco, which will be sold at the upcoming Barrett-Jackson auction in Las Vegas. If you're a regular viewer ofJay Leno's Garage, you may recognize the comedian's custom Bronco because it starred in an episode of the show back in 2019.

As you'd expect, Hart's custom Ford Bronco has been extensively modified. Under the hood is a 5.0-liter fuel-injected 302ci V8 with a GT40 upper and lower intake manifold, paired with a three-speed automatic transmission and a Dana twin-stick transfer case. It also sounds suitably aggressive thanks to a custom exhaust featuring MagnaFlow mufflers.

A lift kit raises the ride height and the suspension has been modified with King coilover shocks with red springs. The custom Bronco rides on 17-inch wheels wrapped in 35-inch Nitto Trail Grappler M/T tires, with a matching spare wheel mounted on a custom rear swing-away carrier.

New bushings and power steering make the classic Bronco easier to drive. Finished in red, Hart's Bronco looks badass with its flared fenders, custom bumpers, black tow hooks, and LED lights. Inside, the interior is fitted with black leather reclining bucket seats featuring red stitching, a rollcage, a custom three-spoke steering wheel, and a custom sound system.

Since the restomod was completed, it has only clocked up 700 miles, so it's begging to be taken on an off-road trail. If you can't wait for thenew Ford Bronco to arrive, Hart's custom off-roader will be going under the hammer at the Barrett Jackson Las Vegas auction on June 17-19. There's no reserve, but it won't be cheap considering this example has a celebrity on the previous owner's list and the renewed interest in vintage Broncos since the new model was unveiled.
