Here's Your Best Look Yet At Volkswagen's New Electric Sedan

While Ford and others have practically abandoned the sedan body style completely in America, other automakers are holding on to this traditional body style. Volkswagen is one such company, even though the Passat has met its demise in this country. The German marque still sells the lovely Arteon, an exceedingly underrated sedan, andisn't done with the Jetta yet. With electrification taking over, VW is also working on an electric sedan codenamed the Aero B. This sedan was firstspied at the beginning of the year, and now our quick photographers have caught it loitering around the streets close to the Nurburgring.

Earlier spy shots gave us a decent look at the Aero B's profile and overall styling, which draws inspiration from 2019'sID. Space Vizzion concept. But whereas the concept was a wagon, the Aero B is more of a fastback-style sedan much like the Tesla Model 3. The latest round of spy shots reveals what looks to be production-ready taillight clusters. The camouflage isn't overly heavy but has been smartly placed to conceal details like the grille and headlights.
