Here's Why The Refreshed Nissan Rogue Is The Hybrid CUV You Need

Since the model range's launch back in 2014 it's become quite the popular compact crossover in the markets it's competing in, even where it goes by the less cool name ofX-Trail. The best way to refresh a car that's been out a while is with a facelift of course, and that's exactly what Nissan has done. The refreshed Rogue SL looks a little cooler, and a little meaner, and that can only result in it's popularity rising even more. Then there's that new electric motor to keep the enviro buyers happy.

On the visual front, the latest Nissan Rogue has a new face with the signature 'V-Motion' grille that features a fat chrome insert flanked by some sharper headlights incorporating LED daytime running lights, and newly designed fog lights lower down in the bumper. You have to admit, it looks pretty good, especially in the same color as the new2017 R35 Nissan GT-R. The facelift also features chrome trimming on the lower doors above the black rocker trim. While the 17-inch wheels are standard, some tasty 19-inch alloys are now an option. Nissan's LED boomerang taillights and an aggressive rear bumper with chrome bits finish off the visuals at the tail end.
