The US online configurator for the Polestar 2 is now live.

After confirming pricing for thePolestar 2, Volvo's new luxury performance brand has launched an online configurator for its newTesla Model 3rival. We already knew the 2021 Polestar 2 will set you back at least $59,900, which is more expensive than the cheapest Tesla Model 3. Now that the configurator has launched, we can see how adding optional extras and packages can hike up the price.

There are six exterior color options to choose from: Snow, Magnesium, Thunder, Moon, Midnight, and Void. Void (black) is the only standard color option, as the others come with an additional $1,200 charge. We opted for the stylish Midnight blue finish.

Inside, the interior can be trimmed in Slate WeaveTech/Black Ash, Charcoal WeaveTech/Black Ash, or Ventilated Nappa leather Barley with reconstructed wood. The latter adds an additional $4,000 to the base price.

As standard, the Polestar 2 includes Pilot and Plus packages that add luxuries and driver assists such as a panoramic sunroof, LED front fog lights, heated front seats and steering wheel, adaptive cruise control, cross traffic alert, and more. Costing an extra $5,000, the available Performance package adds Ohlins dual flow valves dampers, Brembo brakes, 20-inch four-spoke black alloy wheels, gold valve caps, gold seat belts, and a high gloss black roof. Available add-ons include a trunk mat, front and rear passenger floor mats, a tow bar hitch, and a load carrier. These accessories range from $150 to $1,200.
