Ford Bronco V6 Is Heavier On Gas Than Jeep Wrangler

The wait for the newFord Broncoseems unending but we will finally see the SUV hit dealerships later this year. Until then, we'll continue learning all we can about thisJeep Wranglerchallenger. Just yesterday, it was revealed that the Bronco isactually more powerfulthan Ford's initial claims, with up to 330 horsepower in the case of the V6 EcoBoost. But what about fuel economy? OfficialEPA ratingshave yet to be announced but we now have more insight into the Bronco's efficiency thanks to a window sticker shared by a user on the Bronco 6G forum. This particular Bronco had the Sasquatch Package equipped.

According to the window sticker of this four-doorBronco Badlandswith the 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6 engine and 10-speed automatic, the SUV will manage 20 mpg combined across the city and highway cycles. However, you may notice that this figure doesn't align with the accompanying one of 13.9 liters per 100 km. That's because the conversion on the window sticker uses the imperial gallon as is done in Canada. Converting to US gallons gives a combined figure of 17 mpg, rounded up from an exact 16.9. The fact that this is a Canadian Bronco also explains the high price of over $75,000. The sticker also reveals city consumption of 14l/100km or 16.8 mpg.
