Sung Kang's Mazda RX-7 From Tokyo Drift Returns To New Fast And Furious 10

Yes, Han fromThe Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Driftwill be reunited in the F&F world with his black and orange FD-generation Mazda RX-7. Han Lue (Seoul-Oh is the name on his fake ID and a wonderful nod toStar Wars), portrayed by bonafide gearhead Sung Kang, tragically passed away in a fiery ball of death in the 2006 film, but made adramatic comeback in Fast 9behind the wheel of aToyota GR Supra. It turns out that his death was planned and faked; the perfect loophole to bring any character back from the dead. In a recent Instagram post, Sung posted two pictures of himself next to the highly modified Mazda RX-7 sixteen years apart. "Good to see you old friend… Can't believe it's been 16 years since we've seen each other. You've aged well," he said in his post.

Han's FD series RX-7 was undoubtedly the highlight ofTokyo Driftfeaturing an amazing VeilSide body kit that transformed the look of this Japanese performance coupe to the point where some didn't even recognize it as an RX-7. There were nine stunt replicas built of this car. Under the hood of the hero car, the 13B rotary engine swapped sequential twin-turbos for a single HKS turbocharger pushing around 300 horsepower and 256 lb-ft of torque to the wheels. Other cool features include a titanium exhaust system, Apexi suspension, and Brembo brakes.
