Hellcat models receive the Jailbreak package as standard, making them slightly pricier - but some models are actually cheaper than before.

Dodge has updated the configurator for both the Challenger and Charger, withboth destined for discontinuationfollowing the 2023 model year.

First reported byAutoblog, some variants have received a price hike, but Dodge has balanced the increases with discounts available on some trim levels. Take the entry-level Charger SXT, for example. With a starting price of $32,645, the base model already has a palatable price tag. That hasn't stopped the automaker from including a $1,000 retail bonus cash incentive, bringing the total cost down to $31,645.

This $1,000 applies to the GT ($35,440) and R/T ($42,480) derivatives, too. The former is $105 pricier than the 2022 model, while the latter is $300 cheaper.

The $48,840 Charger Scat Pack also receives a $300 decrease in price. The Scat Pack Widebody retains its $54,835 starting price.

The next two models are the priciest of the bunch.Charger SRT HellcatJailbreak and Redeye Jailbreak variants are new to the 2023 lineup and retail for $80,835 and $89,435, respectively. These are a continuation of the SRT Hellcat and Redeye models but feature the Jailbreak package as standard.

This lets客户个性化他们的车辆and virtually does away with some production restraints, availing unique color combinations and finishes. For example, the Jailbreak derivatives can be equipped with Hammerhead Gray seatbelts, among other things.

It's not only the Charger that has a rejigged lineup, though, with its two-door sibling receiving some changes too. The three most affordable models also receive the $1,000 retail bonus cash incentive, which makes them even more of a bargain.

Pricing for the SXT ($30,545), GT ($33,940), and R/T Scat Pack ($46,940) remain unchanged from last year, but the $39,480 Challenger R/T is $300 cheaper than before.
