Tesla Cybertruck Deliveries Starting Even Earlier Than Expected

Four years after its臭名昭著的2019年透露, the long-awaitedTesla Cybertruckwill finally roll off the production lines for deliveries. During Tesla's Q3 2023 earnings call, the Texas-based company shared that the first deliveries of the futuristic-looking electric pickup truck are scheduled for November 30.

While that is a good sign for those who have waited so long, Tesla remains mum about the specs and pricing. Reports suggest the price will soar from the original base price of under $40,000 four years ago. The Cybertruck is also expected to beavailable with a tri-motor setupfrom the Model S Plaid.

If true, the model would be at par with the GMC Hummer EV in terms of performance figures of over 1,000 horsepower. Based on initial specs, the Cybertruck was claimed to offer over 500 miles of EV range, which would be a class-leading figure. Currently, the Rivian R1T leads the segment with up to 410 miles of EPA-rated range with theoptional Max pack.

Tesla says that it aims to produce 250,000 units of the Cybertruck per year by 2025. With over a million pre-orders, some buyers can expect to take delivery of their unitsin five yearsfrom now. The company also admitted it would take 18 months to profit significantly.
