Classic Toyota Owners Have A New Reason To Smile In 2022

Toyota Gazoo Racing has announced that it will be expanding on itsheritage parts programwhich was initiated at the start of 2020. Gazoo Racing has slowly but surely been adding parts to the catalog for cars including A70 and A80 Supras, theLand CruiserSeries 40, and even theclassic 2000GT. But for 2022, Toyota will be expanding availability for these cars and theclassic AE86 Corollawith a total of 56 new parts.

This will join its current catalog of 33 items currently being sold. The total listing of 89 parts is still in the massive shadow of Porsche Classic's 52,000 parts catalog but, we can't deny it's a good start to this passion project as more enthusiasts begin to appreciate the Japanese manufacturer's older offerings.

Toyota Gazoo Racing states that this project aims to reproduce spare parts that have been discontinued, with the idea of selling them as genuine and factory-approved pieces that you can install into your pride and joy if and when something goes wrong. These parts will be available direct from Toyota dealerships from February 1, as and when preparations are complete, and can be ordered just as you would any of its other parts.

So, which parts are now available for the aforementioned models? Those in possession of an A70 Toyota Supra will now have access to a catalyst, parking brake cable, and nine other items. The more popular A80 Supra can now have its ignition and door lock key, key cylinder and one other item replaced.
