Because you've gotta look good when towing a speed boat.

Sales of the new Chevrolet Colorado midsize pickup are off to a solid start. To further capitalize on this success, the automaker has just revealed a unique concept version of the truck at this year's SEMA show. Called the Colorado Nautique concept, it features a crew cab setup, two-tone orange and black exterior paint job, side steps, a tonneau cover and 18-inch alloy wheels. Nothing else on the truck was modified, but it does have a matching trailer and boat with custom orange metallic paint scheme.

Chevrolet teamed up with the Super Air Nautique 210, one of the industry's most popular wakeboard boats. The overall idea here is to show how the new Colorado can be further utilized for outdoor lifestyles. Chevy trucks senior marketing manager, John Fitzpatrick, stated that "You can't own a lifestyle product like the Super Air Nautique without the assurance of a strong, confidence-inspiring truck to haul it to your favorite lake." With its standard 2.5-liter four-cylinder, the Colorado has a towing capacity of 3,500 lbs. Opt for the 3.6-liter V6 and buyers can tow up to 7,000 lbs. The combined weight of the 21-foot boat and trailer shown here is about 5,200 lbs.
