Carlex Design Transforms GLS 600 Into A Minty Fresh Maybach

Carlex Design has revealed its latest project, based on theMercedes-Maybach GLS. You could never describe the luxury SUV as subtle, but that hasn't stopped the tuner from creating an even more conspicuous symbol of new money.

The GLS Gold & Mint sports a two-tone exterior consisting of turquoise and black hues. The main body is finished in a minty fresh shade, separated from the black with a subtle pinstripe. The 23-inch alloys have been finished in a light gold shade and wear the tuner's logo in the center caps.

The prominent grille has also been treated to a golden shade. While Carlex hasn't added a tacky body kit, they have removed the three-pointed star from the hood.

Earlier this year, Carlex Design revealed a Mint and Goldedition based on the brutal and boxyG63 AMG.

If you thought the exterior was a bit much, brace yourself for the interior. The seats, center console, lower dashboard, and door cards have been covered in an equally minty hue and have been teamed with the black piano inlays with flowing lines. The interior is very similar to the Mercedes-Maybach S-Class,revealed by Brabus a few months ago.

虽然坳or may be a bit sudden, there's no denying the leather is plush-looking. Diamond-shaped patterns can be found on all four seats, and the firm's crest is embroidered into the front headrests.

Carlex makes no mention of price but notes this is a limited edition vehicle. Based on that, it's safe to assume a customer ordered the car with this unique color scheme.
