BMW 5 Series Offers a Variety of Engines

As a new 5 Series is just beginning to be rolled out, BMW will be offering it with a wonderful variety of engine and configuration options. There were some early rumors that BMW was going to offer a line of 4 cylinders in the new car, but that has been proven false. There are multiple 6 cylinders to choose from. The best and likely be the most popular is the new single turbo engine, referred to as the N55.

It offers 300 horsepower and utilizes a host of lightweight materials and better emissions. With a claimed time of zero to 60 in only 5.7 seconds, this luxury sport sedan is sure to set the bar again to a new level.
