This week, we've seen mixed fortunes as various automakers reported their sales figures for March and the first quarter of 2022. The complete Niro lineup's sales jumped by 32 percent over its previous record monthly sales.

In March, Kia's top-selling model was the Forte sedan with 9,609 units, followed by theSportage(7,778) and Telluride (7,668). Other strong contributions came from the K5/Optima (5,470), Sorento (6,238), and Soul (5,175). Considering its starting price of over $30,000, it's remarkable that the Telluride is nearly the best-selling model for Kia in 2022 (22,076 units, behind only the Forte at 23,498).
