2022 Jeep Grand Wagoneer Looks Ready To Combat The Cadillac Escalade

The 2021 Chicago Auto Show has opened its doors, marking the long-awaitedreturn of US auto showsafter Detroit, New York, and LA were canceled last year. Jeep used the Chicago Auto Show as a venue to showcase theupdated 2022 Compass facelift, which will fight the Ford Bronco Sport.

On the other side of the spectrum, Jeep is also showing off the new Wagoneer andGrand Wagoneerat the show. Both luxury SUVs were revealed online back in March, and now prospective customers can see how lavish they look in the flesh. These massive three-row SUVs certainly have no trouble standing out at the crowded show.

In terms of design, both models are inspired by the original Wagoneer, incorporating a distinctive seven-slot grille, while the Grand Wagoneer is distinguished by its flared fenders, two-tone roof, premium LED lighting, and standard power retractable side-steps.

Inside, the more luxurious Grand Wagoneer is lavished with Satin American Walnut wood trim as a homage to the original Wagoneer's wood exterior, while the seats are trimmed in high-quality Nappa leather. As standard, both models are equipped with a 12-inch touchscreen for the infotainment system. The Wagoneer is equipped with a standard 10.25-inch digital gauge cluster, while the Grand Wagoneer has a larger 12.3-inch display.
