The 2.5i base model is packed with safety features and includes as standard Subaru’s intuitive Starlink Infotainment system. The interior is hard-wearing and comfortable and the cloth seats should last as long as the car itself, although the front seats don’t offer much support. A ride height of 8.7 inches is class-leading and makes mild off-roading a breeze. Although the base 2.5i isn’t as feature-rich as its competitors in comparable trim spec, the 2.5i makes up for it with standard all-wheel-drive that doesn’t decimate gas mileage numbers, high levels of safety, and true off-roading capability that should make the rest of the class blush with embarrassment.
