The Lexus ES was never meant to be a sports sedan, and honestly, it doesn't really come close. Competitors such as BMW do it far better with the 5 Series, so Lexus is happy to focus on luxury, comfort, and value for money instead. For those that need to look like their ES can go fast, Lexus offers the F Sport. This trim gains no actual performance other than a set of larger wheels and stiffened suspension. The exterior is treated to some more aggressive bumpers, a rear spoiler, and Dark Graphite 19-inch wheels. On the inside, there are some unique aluminum trimmings, sports pedals, bucket seats, and a performance-orientated cluster. A handful of features courtesy of the Luxury trim find their way onto this model, though, including blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, and heating and ventilation for the front seats.
