The wagon body style may not be as popular as it once was, but we can't deny that it still has a certain appeal. This is especially true for luxury models like the Audi A6 allroad; its exterior is sleek and ultra-modern while still retaining a certain ruggedness. The grille on the front fascia is both broad and tall, covering much of the lower bumper, too. Matrix-design LED headlights complete the look. Moving to the sides, the wheel arches are far taller than the 20-inch alloy wheels they house. Roof rails are installed as standard, along with a panoramic sunroof. The rear end of the wagon is not quite as bold, with LED taillights and concealed exhaust outlets. The only noticeable features added on the Prestige are power soft-closing doors and HD LED headlights, but both trims can be given an imposing gloss-black overhaul via the Black Optic Package.
If looks alone weren't enough, the dimensions of the Audi A6 allroad prove that it's no sedan. A length of 194.9 inches combined with a 115.2-inch wheelbase ensures that the cabin is extremely spacious. While there are 7.3 inches of ground clearance - 1.8 inches more than in the A6 sedan - the roof is relatively low at a height of 58.9 inches. A width of 83.1 inches (including the mirrors) can make it unwieldy in crowded parking lots or narrow streets. The curb weight of 4,486 pounds makes the A6 allroad of one the heaviest wagons left in the USA.

The exterior colors for the 2023 Audi A6 allroad provide enough choice but almost all the shades require an extra charge. Only Brilliant Black is available free of charge. The majority of the paint options are metallic hues that cost $595. These include Dew Silver, Florett Silver, Chronos Gray, Manhattan Gray, Glacier White, Mythos Black, Soho Brown, and Firmament Blue. As with most models, there is also an Audi Exclusive palette with more customized choices, but adding one of these ultra-premium paint jobs costs $7,900.
Darkening the exterior trim with the Black Optic Package is an option that costs $1,100. And, if you want the wheel arch cladding and the rest of the lower body also in a full paint finish, this costs another $1,000. This option is only compatible with some colors, though.
It all comes down to personal taste, but Firmament Blue is a regal choice while Manhattan Gray is still imposing but also easy to maintain.
Any paint chosen from the Audi exclusive palette comes at the cost of $7,900.
A panoramic sunroof is included as standard on all A6 allroad models.
There are a pair of concealed exhaust outlets at the rear of the wagon.
Regardless of trim, 20-inch alloy wheels are standard on the A6 allroad.
