The AcuraWatch Plus Package is focused on driver assistive features. Among them is adaptive cruise control, which both maintains the desired speed and keeps a set distance between the car in front. Lane keeping assist makes use of cameras to identify lanes and will maintain the RDX’s position in its lane if drifting is detected. The collision mitigation system is designed to warn the driver of impending obstacles via visual alerts, and should the driver not react, the system can take over and brake the vehicle automatically. These contribute to the high levels of safety across most of the RDX range.
