You Can Still Get A New Chrysler 300 SRT

Tempted to pick up a high-poweredDodge Charger, but find it a little too low-rent for your refined tastes? TheChrysler 300 SRTcould be just the ticket. Shame FCA stopped selling it here in 2015. But you can still get one in other parts of the world. Like in Australia, for example, where it has just introduced the special edition you see here.

The newChrysler 300SRT Pacer edition celebrates the 50th anniversary of the 1969 Chrysler Valiant Pacer, a memorable muscle car that the Pentastar brand sold Down Under half a century ago.

局限于50例子,Pacer版mostly a cosmetic package, with black and red graphics and special Pacer 392 badges inside and out that hint (in cubic inches) at the size of the engine under the hood. And that's where things get interesting.

Where American customers can get the 300C or 300S with a Hemi V8, it displaces "only" 5.7 liters to put out 363 horsepower and 394 lb-ft of torque. The 300 SRT still available overseas and on which this edition is based, however, packs the big 6.4-liter Hemi, putting out 470 horsepower and just as much torque.
