Wild Nissan Kicks And Titan With Everything Unveiled At SEMA

SEMA 2019 /3 Comments

Nissan goes nuts on the Kicks and throws the accessory catalogue at the Titan.

At the opposite ends of the Nissan range of vehicles are the Kicks compact crossover and the Titan full-size truck. The Kicks has been around just a short while, and the2020 Nissan Titanis an all-new model. We drove theNissan Kickswhen it first came out and found it to be a fun and capable little crossover. However, it wasn't as balanced on the backroads and as fun to drive as the terminally ugly Juke. With a bit more under the hood and some suspension tweaks, though, it would be a great little performance crossover. However, because this is forSEMA, Nissan has wondered what the Kicks would be like with more engine and an over-the-top body kit.

Under the hood, Nissan has added a Garrett GT2255 turbocharger, Turbosmart diverter valve, and a UPREV ECU to the Kicks' 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine. Nissan hasn't given us any power figures, but that should give the peppy little engine some real urgency.

For the chassis, Nissan has kitted the Kicks out with a custom suspension setup using Nismo/Ohlins coilover shock absorbers, and set of Volk Racing TE37V wheels wearing Falken Azenis tires. The body kit is fabricated by 360 Composites and features an oversize front air dam, rear roof spoiler, and side skirts. If that wasn't wild enough, inside is a set of Sparco SPX carbon bucket seats to go with the custom interior upholstery.

We first saw the 2020 Nissan Titan在炎热和潮湿的day in Texas, complete with its one size fits all 400-horsepower V8 and a host of improvements Nissan hopes will put it on par with the offerings from the big three truck makers in the US.

The Titan that the Japanese automaker has taken to SEMA is prepped purely from the Nissan accessory catalog. Highlights include: PRO-4X front and rear mud flaps, a sliding bed extender, back bumper step assist, rugged step boards, illuminated kick plates, sport bar with off-road lights and light covers, Class III 4-inch drop hitch ball mount and marker lights for the fenders and grille.
