What's Better: Kia Stinger Concept or Subaru BRZ?

Comparison /174 Comments

One's a concept and the other is a production car, but both appeal to the same audience.

Ever since Subaru and Toyota teamed up to design and build the BRZ and GT86/FR-S twins, competing automakers suddenly realized there was still a market for an affordable, RWD, and fun-to-drive sports coupe. And now Kia is making its first attempt at busting Subaru and Scion's market success with its recently unveiled GT4 Stinger Concept. Powered by a turbocharged 2.0-liter four pot with 315 horsepower, it's obviously more powerful than its Japanese competitors.

Kia has even gone the extra mile by giving the GT4 20" wheels, Brembo brakes, a flat-bottom steering wheel and leather-wrapped bucket seats. Based on everything we've seen, the GT4 Stinger Concept could easily be made production ready in no time. We're really hoping this happens because it'd be an epic showdown between it and the BRZ/FR-S.
