At the time of writing, this 2002 Nissan Skyline GT-R M-Spec Nur was already sitting at $450,000 onBring a Trailer. That's already $50,000 more than aSpec Nur demanded in 2020, and it's going to be interesting to see where the final bid lands.
The R34-generation Nissan SkylineGT-Ris one of the most sought-after JDM sports cars around and tends to fetch staggering prices at auction. These prices might seem shocking to first-timers, but we've seen R34 GT-Rs go for much higher prices, including azero-mile Midnight Purple R34 Nissan GT-R Nismo, which recently sold for an eye-watering $662k.

The Nissan Skyline GT-R M-Spec Nur is a special edition of the R34 generation, with only 285 models ever being built. This example is number 34 and was in possession of the original owner until 2020, after which it was exported to Australia, where it currently resides.
The exterior of this 21-year-old Nissan is immaculate. It features a Millennium Jade paint job, 18-inch LMGT4 wheels wrapped in Bridgestone tires, front and rear underbody spoilers, a massive rear carbon fiber wing, xenon headlights, privacy glass, and a titanium exhaust system.
Behind that set of gorgeous wheels sits a stiff M-spec suspension setup with ripple control dampers, a more rigid rear anti-roll bar, and a set of Brembo calipers on slotted discs. NISMO reportedly fitted new brake hoses in 2021.
Under the hood, this Skyline GT-R is equipped with Nissan's legendary twin-turbocharged 2.6-liter RB26DETT inline-six engine. The engine comes with a reinforced N1 engine block in the Nur spec car. Other features include individual throttle bodies, an aftermarket engine control module, an R-Tune air intake, a carbon fiber inlet pipe, and a NISMO-installed front-mount intercooler.
The engine bay is topped off with an adjustable strut bar and a gold valve cover. The GT-R originally made 276 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque from the factory, but we're sure this one is pushing a few more ponies than that.
Power is sent to all four wheels via an ATTESA all-wheel-drive system with a limited-slip rear differential and a six-speed manual transmission. The electronically-actuated Super HICAS rear-wheel-steering system is also still in place, and the car comes fitted with a new twin-plate clutch.
The interior has M-Spec manually-adjustable heated sports seats in black leather, an LCD screen, alloy pedals, GT-R branded floor mats, air conditioning, a CD player, and power windows.
The tachometer shows an 8,000 rpm redline and a 180 km/h speedometer. The odometer shows only 27,000 miles.
This car is being sold without a title, as it is still registered in Australia. As far as Skyline GT-Rs go, this is one of the rarest and most extraordinary out there and should be a solid investment for anyone with nearly half a million lying around.
