Toyota Sienna Transformed Into The Ultimate Party Van

Offbeat /3 Comments

Trust us, you want this thing at your next party.

Do you Like the2023 Toyota Sienna? Have you ever wished someone would fill it with 60 speakers, a professional DJ-ing platform, tons of lights, and a 43-inch TV?

No? Us neither, but that hasn't stopped Toyota apparently from building the out-of-this-world Sienna: Remix. It was built in conjunction with the Texas-based Complete Custom auto shop and SiriusXM, and you definitely want it to attend your next birthday bash.

Surprisingly, this isn't the first time we've seen a car company turn one of its vansinto a moveable party, but we must admit it has been a while. The Sienna doesn't have the most hip image out there, but that's only because it'sbuilt for safety and comfort.

也许该公司正试图flip that script to attract a younger clientele.

"With this custom Sienna build, we wanted to amplify the moments we all share with friends and family through music," said Toyota Marketing and Communications General Manager Joe Moses. "By putting a creative twist on the style and function of Sienna, this unique concept celebrates those times when we're all inspired and energized by music."

Amplify it they did, as this thing seems serious enough to be its own stage at the Electric Daisy Carnival next year.

Starting on the outside, the liftgate has been swapped for two swing-out doors, half of the roof has been replaced with a retractable panel, the vehicle has been given a 2-inch lift, 22-inch wheels have been added, and more soundproofing was implemented all around.

The cool part is the cutout in the roof opens up to reveal a small stage for the DJ to perform on. Flanked on all sides by speakers, the performer can control everything from their vantage point, whether it be the lights, speakers, the vibe, or all the above.

Let's get to this sound system because it's the real star of the show. The 60 speakers comprise four 12-inch subwoofers, 36 midrange speakers, 14 tweeters, and six percussion horns. An eight-channel mixer routes the tunes through a 12-channel digital sound process, allowing the user to choose between SiriusXM, wired, or wireless audio sources. Thanks to 16 amplifiers powered by six-56 volt 4ah Li-Ion batteries, the system pushes out 25,000 watts of power, which should be enough to keep the party going all night long.

Of course, the accompanying lighting setup will also keep your fans visually entertained throughout your set. If that isn't enough, the 43-inch monitor can play other visuals and even double as the perfect video game monitor whenever the party is dying down.

We imagine the company will be bringing this bad boy to different car events across the country. We don't know why Toyota and Lexus are so intohighly unique audio buildsfor their vehicles, but we hope they keep up the trend moving forward, as we wouldn't mind seeing a few other of their models with some cool audio tricks up their sleeves.
