The 2010 Toyota Camry Hybrid offers all the virtues of the Toyota Camry; exceptional comfort, and low long term cost of ownership, with better fuel economy for a slightly higher price. The Camry Hybrid was last redesigned in 2008, and for 2010 both the Camry and the Camry Hybrid see slight exterior styling changes, including a reshaped bumper and new tail lights. The 2010 Toyota Camry Hybrid is available only in one single, well equipped trim level.

The 2010 Toyota Camry Hybrid's green technology ups the ante for an already competent sedan. The 2010 Camry Hybrid has a 2.4-liter four cylinder engine with 147 horsepower, along with a supplementary electric motor that creates combined output totaling 187 horsepower. Most critics have had great reviews about the Camry Hybrid, and EPA ratings set it to achieve 22/34 mpg city/highway. The Hybrid's smooth ride and confident road manners mean it handles much like a regular Camry, but the electric power assisted rack and pinion draws criticism.

The appeal of the 2010 Camry Hybrid is somewhat based on its conventional appearance. Unlike the Prius, the Camry Hybrid looks much like a conventional Camry. The Camry Hybrid has a new grill for 2010, which visually distinguishes it from the gasoline powered edition. The Camry has always been designed for average tastes, and the minor changes to the bodywork for 2010 have done little to change that. Inside, the Camry Hybrid offers up to date electronics, easy to use climate and entertainment systems, and highly adjustable seats.

The Hybrid seats five in relative comfort, and the seats are upholstered in a fabric using silk protein and synthetic fibers, designed to be softer than normal fabrics. The 2010 Camry Hybrid also boasts a long list of standard equipment.
