Facelifted crossover will make debut at New York Auto Show next month.

Toyota has released the first image of the new Venza upon announcing that the facelifted crossover will make its North American debut at next month's New York Auto Show. All we have to go on is this shot of the car's headlight but it's clear that the updated styling seen on the new Camry and refreshed Avalon has been carried over on the CUV. Toyota has informed that the refresh will include a restyled front fascia incorporating new upper and lower grilles.

New fog lights and updated taillights will also feature while three new exterior colors will be offered namely Attitude Black, Cypress Pearl, and Cosmic Gray Mica. A new 19-inch wheel design completes the look of the refreshed exterior. Currently the Venza comes with a 2.7-liter four-cylinder and range-topping 3.5-liter V6 with 268hp to play with. For the 2013MY, the three trim levels: LE, XLE, and Limited will still be available, but no official figures as to power, fuel economy and CO2 emissions have yet to be revealed.

The base LE model gets a display audio, puddle lamps, blind spot mirrors and outer mirror turn signals as standard; the XLE will have driver memory seating, display audio with satnav and Toyota's Entune multi-media system as standard; while the Limited gets all of the above plus LED daytime running lights and upgraded satnav and audio systems. Full details are bound to emerge prior to the car's unveiling on April 4th.
