Toyota and Lexus Make Waves at Tokyo

The Tokyo Auto Saloon, the Japanese SEMA equivalent that's taking place this month, has been a major showcase for Toyota/Lexus. There have been several concepts displayed, including three new versions of the Lexus LFA. First up is the Toyota iQ GRMN Racing Concept, which is based on the 2009 iQ GRMN limited edition (all 100 units sold out in a week) and was jointly developed by Gazoo Racing and MN Tuning.

The concept features a wide-body kit, large spoiler, rear diffuser, and a dual exhaust system. Inside, there are sport seats, a full roll cage, and alloy pedals. Although its engine specs weren't announced, we're assuming it's a supercharged 1.3-liter four-cylinder with 119 hp. Other notable show cars include the Prius G Concept and the TRD (Toyota Racing Department) Auris GT Concept. Lexus also debuted the Gazoo Racing LFA supercar along with two other new versions: CCS-R (Club Circuit Sport Racer) and Club Performance Accessory.

The new CT200h also made an appearance, but now in F-Sport guise. It features accessories such as alloy wheels, a body kit by Modellista and Recaro sport seats.
