This SEMA Chevy Just Went From Concept To Reality

SEMA concepts usually don't see showroom floors, but when they do people take notice.

Chevrolet has brought one of its SEMA 2014 offerings from concept to reality in the form of the new Impala Midnight Edition. This special edition is based on the Blackout concept showed at SEMA last October. The special edition sports all-black everything, starting with its grille, paint and interior. The wheels have black accents and the iconic Chevy bowtie has been darkened to complete the package. As the Impala is a boring family car it receives no modifications under the hood.

The Midnight Edition is available on just about every Impala trim. It runs from $995 to $1,595 depending on what you slap it on to. Even though Chevy hasn't made the Impala any faster or more fun to drive (about that front-wheel drive setup...) it's still nice to see some aesthetic improvements offered.
