This Is What The New Mercedes-AMG S63e Will Look Like

Design /10 Comments

It's going to be very different from any AMG that came before it.

TheMercedes-AMG S63is the ultimate blend of luxury, technology, and rip-roaring performance. In keeping with its continual theme of modern advances, the 2022 model will be dubbed the S63e and will feature electric assistance. As much as this may frustrate die-hard Mercedes enthusiasts, the results will doubtless be spectacular. Reports claim that, along with a twin-turbo V8, the system will generate a total of around 700 horsepower, with an even more powerful S73e version to follow with as much as 800 hp. Specs like these will doubtless help theluxury limo live on longerthan many rivals, but how will it look?

Yesterday we saw ourfirst spy shotsof the incredible S63e and one of the best automotive design artists around,Nikita Chuiko, has once again put digital pen to virtual paper and brought the new model to life in his typically convincing manner. We've seen rendersfrom others before, but this one is most likely to be the most accurate. For the first time, the sedan version of the AMG-enhanced S-Class will feature the Panamericana grille up front with a large three-pointed star, in this case with horizontal slats behind the grille's vertical vanes. Other typical AMG cues will include the quad-exit exhaust system in an aggressive rear diffuser.

一件事情从这个渲染是th失踪e addition of fender badges, but other than that, we expect that the rendered multi-spoke wheels, gloss black accents on the new bumpers, and lightly massaged hood should carry through almost exactly as seen here. Will the new AMG S-Class still be as impressive as the models that came before it? Yes. Will it look fantastic? Yes. Will we miss the V12 that will now only be offered on Mercedes-Maybach models? Certainly. Are we feeling patient about its release? Absolutely not. One thing is for sure though: BMW and Audi are going to have a tough time trying to best this beast.
