Senior staff designer at Hot Wheels Bryan Benedict stated that this sports car is a celebration of the collaboration between Hot Wheels and Lucas Films. The Hot Wheel is based on a Chevrolet C5 Corvette and has the same LS3 V8 with a manual transmission.
