The Hyundai i30's Exhaust May Shut Up All Of The N Brand Skeptics

年代o far, we haven't seen anything really concrete from Hyundai's N performance division other than a few crazy concept cars. But now we finally get a taste of the N brand in action. Hyundai is planning to enter the Nurburgring 24 Hours race with three models, one of which will be a prototype of the upcoming i30 Turbo N hatchback. The i30 is thefirst modelin aseries of performancemodels that Hyundai hopes to grow into afully fledged rivalfor BMW's M division. After hearing this car blast around the ring, we are finally excited for Hyundai's N brand.

The i30 will get a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine, which Hyundai claims is 40% new. The car will also have better brakes and suspension as well as wider fenders. Horsepower should be around 260.
