Chevrolet Corvette C8 Has Outrageous Price Tag In Europe

In the US, deliveries of the2020 Chevrolet Corvette Stingraybegan earlier this year after beingdelayed for several months. European customers, on the other hand, will have to wait a bit longer to get behind the wheel of the first mid-engine Corvette. Chevrolet has announced pricing and availability details for the C8 Corvette the UK, and there are some notable changes aside from its right-hand-drive configuration. This is also the first time the Corvette has been available in both left- and right-hand drive in the model's history.

To mark the car's European debut, Chevrolet will offer a generously-equipped launch edition of the 2020 Corvette in Europe. Unlike the US version, the European 2020 Corvette Stingray will be equipped with the Z51 Performance package installed as standard.

This package includes sportier suspension tuning, Brembo brakes with larger rotors and front air inlets for cooling, an electronic limited-slip differential, a shorter axle ratio, a performance exhaust system, an aerodynamics package that improves thehigh-speed stabilityand Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires. Normally, this package is available as a $4,995 optional extra in the US.

Compared to America's entry-level C8 Corvette, European Corvettes also come as standard in 2LT trim, which includes a performance data recorder, head-up display, navigation system, 14-speaker Bose sound system, a rear camera mirror and heated and ventilated seats.

可用exclusively in 3LT trim, the European Launch Edition is distinguished by unique exterior embellishments, but Chevrolet didn't provide any further details. The Magnetic Ride Control 4.0 suspension system is also included as standard on these models.
