TEASED: Hennessey Venom F5 Roadster Is Coming

The Hennessey brand is very well-known for its mammoth performance upgrades and styling packages. The American tuner has createdmonsters like a 6x6 Ram TRXand offers a number oftuning solutions for Mustangs. But it doesn't only enhance the creations of other automakers and has been hard at workdeveloping its Venom F5 hypercaras it prepares to challenge for the title of World's Fastest Production Car. The spectacular machine is sure to upset the established order, but the opportunity to purchase one has come and passed, asall examples are now sold out. Fortunately, there is some good news: those who missed out on the coupe can now get ready for a roadster version.

亨尼西has posted a teaser image of the new roadster, announcing that the drop-top version will arrive with the same 6.6-liter twin-turbo V8 'Fury' engine that is fitted to the coupe. With 1,817 horsepower on tap (Hennessey reached out to say their post had a typo), the new addition to the range is sure to attract a lot of interest.亨尼西first hinted at a roadstermodel in May 2019, and because the Hennessey-designed carbon-fiber tub (which is produced by Delta Motorsport in Silverstone, England) was always designed to allow a roadster configuration, we expect that the roofless version will not take very long to develop. Of course, development of the coupe needs to be completed first.
