Unless you have fantasies that don't involve race tracks, but what's the point of those?
The Sportscar Vintage Racing Association is one of a number of organizations which puts on races featuring vintage race cars battling it out exactly as they did in the days when they were new. A number of different categories exist for this, but the one you'll see in this video is Group 6: bigger-engined production sports cars and sedans from before 1972. It is actually pretty similar to what a Trans-Am race would have looked like during the glory days.
Trans-Am was a big deal for American carmakers during the golden age of muscle cars, and this race makes it easy to see why.
