Stellantis' awesome yearly Drive for Design contest is back.

Stellantis is currently running its 11th annualDrive for Designcontest, encouraging high-school students in grades 10-12 to showcase their creativity and design skills. This year, the challenge is to envision the next-generation Ram EV electric truck. In other words, the successor to theRam 1500 Revolution. The contest highlights the importance of fresh ideas in electric truck design, especially as the demand for electric vehicles grows andthere is so muchroom for innovation.

The main prize for this year's competition is an internship opportunity in the Ram Truck Exterior Design Studio, assuming the winner is eligible to do so. The images shown are from previous years' winners.

To highlight how big of an opportunity the internship is, the program is currently run by Mark Trostle, the vice president of Ram Truck andMopar Design, who won an early version of the competition as a high school student in 1987.

"Participating in this contest gave me the confidence to pursue the path to a career in automotive design. Now, I want to help students find the connection between their creativity and the automotive industry," said Trostle. "It is incredible to see our past winners come up through the design school ranks. I even get to see some of them as interns or coworkers in our design studio."
