SEMA 2011: Chevrolet Corvette Z06 Ron Fellows Tribute Edition

Chevrolet is all set to reveal a second Corvette Concept at SEMA, beginning later this week in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Just a few days ago, Chevrolet revealed the first details of the Carlisle Blue Grand Sport Concept that'll be featured at this year's SEMA show in Las Vegas. And now, the American automaker is providing fresh details about a second 'Vette that will be on display, called the Z06 Ron Fellows 'Hall of Fame' Tribute. For those who are unfamiliar, Ron Fellows had a very distinguished racing career that included driving the championship Corvette Racing C5.R and C6.R teams.

He has since been inducted to the National Corvette Museum's Hall of Fame in 2011. And now the automaker is honoring him with this Torch Red Corvette Z06 show car complete with custom graphics that honor the racing wins. Other graphics include the National Corvette Museum Hall of Fame, Spring Mountain Driving School and Mosport. Besides the Z06 Performance Package, it has also has magnetic ride control, a CFZ carbon fiber package with splitter and rocker moldings, a carbon fiber raised hood, black headlamps housings and mirrors, and red brake calipers.

There's also ebony interior with red stitching, a suede-trimmed steering wheel, shift knob, parking brake handle and armrests with additional red stitching. Other finishing touches include a genuine Corvette Accessory Racing Pedal Package. The standard Corvette Z06 is powered by a 7.0-liter V8 with 505hp and is mated to a standard six-speed manual. The Corvette Z06 Ron Fellows Tribute Edition will be on full display in just a few days in Las Vegas. Stay tuned for additional photos and details.
