Running Tesla Cybertruck Wooden Replica Shows Impeccable Build Quality

It has a working suspension system, steering, and even an EV powertrain.

A highly skilled and popular woodworking team from Vietnam built itsTesla Cybertruckreplica out of wood. It took the guy 100 days to finish the deceivingly intricate project, and it looks like a winner.

该项目ect, which was showcased in full on the team's ND-Woodworking Art YouTube channel, started with a steel and aluminum frame. This formed the basis for a rolling chassis complete with a suspension system, a steering mechanism, and disc brakes. The artist even installed a working electric powertrain with a small motor and a set of batteries.

After completing the metal bits, it's all wood going forward. The entire frame of the replica is covered by wood panels, which were expertly cut and measured to mimic the rough and sharp angles of the real Cybertruck. And quite frankly, it appears to have fewer panel gaps, so it turns out that wood might be the way to go if you want build quality comparable toLego and soda cans.

To cap it all off, the woodworkers even gave the vehicle a set of wooden wheel covers. They likewise provided the wooden exterior with a shiny finish thanks to a generous layer of varnish. And, of course, it has working doors, side mirrors, seats, wipers, and the iconic (or notorious)Tesla yoke steering wheel, all made out of wood. Last but not least, it likewise received an acrylic roof to simulate thesunroof on the real Cybertruck.

The end of the video showed the wooden Cybertruck going on a cruise. During this part, it was carrying a wooden ATV which was driven by the woodworking YouTuber's son. They even took it on a city drive where it managed to keep up with a camera car.

Like the other projects featured on the ND-Woodworking Art channel, the Cybertruck isn't up to scale with the real thing. It is in fact, around the size of a Mitsubishi Mirage hatch. Other projects that the guy worked on include an impressive wooden version of the Ford F-150 Raptor and a miniatureFerrari GTO 250.
