Rezvani的Video-Game Inspired Vengeance SUV To Make Public Debut At Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale

The Vengeance is a bizarre video-game-inspired hunk of metal.

Rezvani isdoubling downon its tacti-cool approach to vehicle design with the Vengeance SUV, penned by specialist video game vehicle designer Milen Ivanov.

The Vengeance was created to meld futuristic vehicles of the virtual world and the most capable military SUVs. It will debut at an upcoming Barrett-Jackson auction in Scottsdale, Arizona.

"The goal was to put a science fictionvideo game concept carin people's driveways," said CEO Ferris Rezvani. California-based Rezvani has become famous for its armored vehicles, and the Vengeance will be available with a new Bullet Proof Military Package.

The Vengeance is a three-row SUV powered by a naturally aspirated 420 horsepower 6.2-liter V8. You can go the more frugal route and opt for a 3.0-liter turbocharged six-cylinder diesel at no extra cost, but what you really want is the supercharged V8 that produces 810 hp and 770 pound-feet of torque. Oddly, a four-wheel-drive system is an optional extra. It rides on 22-inch wheels wrapped in 35-inch off-road tires.

While it may look ready to invade a country on the outside, Rezvani specializes in luxury interiors. Inside, there are heated and ventilated, power-adjustable leather front bucket seats, while the second row comes with a choice of captain's chairs or a full three-seat bench.

Other features include a curved OLED digital dashboard with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, navigation, tri-zone climate control, a heated steering wheel, augmented-reality capabilities, and a head-up display.

The Bullet Proof Military Package is extensive and covers the outside and underneath, including explosives protection. There are also features like electrified door handles, a thermal night vision system, a steel ram bumper, gas masks, bulletproof vests, and gas masks.

All of this will appeal to doomsday preppers, military cosplayers, and fans of Punisher stickers. We can't take this vehicle or Rezvani as a brand too seriously, as no self-respectingarmored vehicle makerwould use the term "bulletproof" over the industry standard "bullet resistant," and we don't see any mention ofarmor specifications in line with any national or global certification. As far as the design of the Vengeance goes, it's a step up from theTesla Cybertruckbut along the same lines in its childishness.

Stock standard, it costs $285,000.
