The song also features automotive influencer and TV host Hert.

While many rappers have questionable taste in cars, T-Pain is one of the few who truly appreciates automotive greats and has quite the collection of cars he dotes on. That's quite evident from the fact that he sampled the delicious sounds of aMazda rotary enginefor his next song.

The song in question isn't out yet, but the rapper posted a short snippet on TikTok. TitledBaby Got Brap, it starts purely with the pleasing rhythmic thrum of the Dorito-spinning motor just after ignition.

After a while, when the revs levels out at idle. The rapper then bursts in with his aggressive-sounding first verse and a heavy beat. The short animated clip also features a spinning pair of iconic triangle-shaped rotors.

The song will have a full release on October 20. But why did T-Pain sample the rotary engine? Well, the famous rapper is actually a fan of the famed Mazda power plant. T-Pain is big into drifting. He doesn't own an RX-7 (yet), but he currently runs a drift-specFord Mustangcustomized by pro drifter Vaughn Gittin Jr'sRTR Vehicles.

He is such a big fan of the rotary, that he even posted an invite to RX-7 owners to bring their rides on the set of the song's music video. According to his Instagram post, this is happening on October 15, 2023, from 7 PM to 10 PM, in Los Angeles. Presumably, the RX-7s will appear in the music video.

To further hone into the automotive theme, the song will also feature influencer and car enthusiast Hertrech Eugene Jr., more famously known as "Hert" from Hoonigan. He is an associate of T-Pain and is one of the Hoonigan guys. Currently, he isone of the judgeson NBC'sHot Wheels: Ultimate Challenge. Hert himself owns a Mazda RX-7 FD.

Whether you like T-Pain or one, you can't deny the creativity of incorporating engine sounds and car culture into music. Also, we think it's shaping up to be a hip-hop banger, unlike that will.i.am and Lil Waynetribute to Formula 1called The Formula.
