Need for Speed Heat isracing onto PS4, Xbox One, and PC next month, and it promises to be a return to form for the series with a mix of illegal street racing, intense cop chases, and comprehensive car customization. Among the cars that will star in the new Need for Speed game include theBMW M2, Ford Mustang GT, Ferrari 488 GTB, and Nissan GT-R.

You won't be able to drive the new Supra, however, because Toyotadoesn't want to be associated with a game that focuses on illegal street racing. One of the standout cars in the reveal trailer was a heavily modifiedPolestar 1, which is also the game's cover star car. While players will be able to take the Polestar 1 for a virtual test drive in the game this November, the customized hybrid sports car is being recreated in real life.

While the custom Polestar 1 will be receiving a plethora of exterior modifications, it isn't clear if there will be any tinkering under the hood. In stock form, the Polestar 1 is powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-four and two electric motors producing a combined 600 hp and 738 lb-ft of torque. Customer deliveries of the Polestar 1 are expected start before the end of this year, with pricing starting at $155,000.
