看起来优雅和承诺是一顶帽子able chronograph too.

The new Porsche 911 S/T isan instant icon, celebrating 60 years since the911first arrived, so naturally, Porsche has announced a limited edition chronograph as an ultra-exclusive option for the 1,963 buyers of the car.

It's officially titled the "Chronograph 1 - 911 S/T" and is every bit as subdued and handsome as the car it accompanies. Unlike the flashiness we've seen from Bugatti-branded timepieces, the restraint shown by Porsche Design is refreshing, but the tie-ins to the car are simply beautiful. These include a typeface and face design that match the retro gauges on the car, with green highlights harking back to the color of the original 911's gauges.

Its case is made from lightweight titanium, which is uncoated and sandblasted for a tastefully textured finish. The body is then paired with a black bezel and dial filled with luminous green Arabic numerals for its minute scale, sub-dials, and day-date complication.

Meanwhile, the chronograph's caseback gets a visible flywheel strikingly similar to the five-Y-spoke magnesium wheels of the Porsche 911 S/T, offered in various colors. Several strap choices are also available, including leather and sand-blasted titanium.

Besides looking awesome, Porsche Design ensured that this particular timepiece meets the demands of a discerning collector. The WERK 01.240 4Hz automatic movement comes with a 48-hour reserve power, and it meets COSC chronometer certification.

The Chronograph 1 - 911 S/T is a limited-edition watch like the uber-expensiveRichard Mille RM 72-01 Le Mans Classic. Unlike the latter, though, Porsche Design's latest timepiece is more affordable with its $13,500 suggested retail price. The price includes several accessories for the watch, such as a plaque featuring an image of the 911 S/T and the chronograph's serial number.

Only 1,963 units of the Chronograph 1 - 911 S/T will be made, mimicking the number of 911 ST/s to be produced and signifying the year in which the 911 arrived: 1963. In contrast,Chronograph 1 - 75 Years Porsche Editionis a far rarer piece with 475 units existing.

While not as rare, the Chronograph 1 - 911 S/T is arguably more special given the car it's linked with, as the 911 S/T is the lightest 992-generation sports car, has the naturally aspirated motor from the 911 GT3 RS, a six-speed manual gearbox with a lightweight clutch and single-mass flywheel, and a slew of other weight savings. It's peak Porsche 911, and the timepiece matches it perfectly.
