Nissan Reveals New Performance Concept In Chicago: The 370Z Nismo Roadster

First off, yes this car is technically just a concept and not something which Nissan is officially ready to produce. However, as concepts go, this is about as production ready as one could possibly be, so don't lose all hope just yet. The car is the 370Z Nismo Roadster, and just as the name implies, it's a 370Z convertible made faster by Nismo. The car is effectively the same as the hardtop version of the car in all respects other than the roof. It even uses the same color scheme.

This means the car is powered by a 350-horsepower 3.7-liter V6, and has been given a whole host of new aero bits and red accents on the outside. The interior is also pretty much the same, including the Recaro seats and the premium audio system. All of this similarity does mean it would be downright strange if the car didn't make it to production, although Nissan is still officially "gauging reactions" to the car, so if you want one, this might be a good time to let Nissan know.
