New York 2011: Chrysler 200 S and S Convertible

Just as the New York Auto Show is getting underway, Chrysler has released in advance pictures and details of the 2011 Chrysler 200 S sedan and S convertible. So what are the differences in this new trim? Basically, Chrysler designers gave the 200 a small dosage of adrenaline by enhancing exterior. Each one receives S-specific Chrysler badge on the nose along with body-colored side mirrors, door handles, and headlamps with black backgrounds.

S models ride on 18-inch aluminum wheels that also feature the S badge. The interior receives embroidered front headrests, heated leather front seats with suede inserts, door trim, and a 276-watt Boston Acoustic audio system. Each are powered by the 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 and mated to an automatic transmission. Pricing starts at $26,790 for the sedan and $32,490 for the convertible. Both will arrive in dealerships this spring.
