New Rolls-Royce Privacy Suite Back Seat Takes Opulence To A New Level

Luxury /6 Comments

Now you can enjoy "fancy things" in private.

No one would ever accuse thenew Rolls-Royce Phantom of being anything less than pure opulence on wheels. Yet the carmaker thinks it can do better, and has now pushed the luxury envelope even further with its new Privacy Suite - a new rear seat option available for the Extended Wheelbase Phantom, providing rear seat occupants with unparalleled privacy and luxury.

Rolls-Royce says its new Privacy Suite is a "leap forward in sound absorption in a motor car that is already hailed as the quietest in the world, delivering the highest possible levels of acoustic insulation." In other words, rear seat occupants no longer have to be bothered by nuisances like outside sounds.

Anyone who's ever had a chatty Uber driver knows the pain of having to engage in a tiresome conversation with a driver, but Rolls-Royce has solved this issue using a frequency-specific compound to inhibit the conversations of the front and rear cabins. If you do need to talk to the driver, the rear seat features a fully integrated intercom system, which allows the rear occupants to have a direct line to the front row. The driver can also attempt to contact the rear seat occupants, who have the option to accept or decline the call.

The luxury only becomes more bewildering from there. As with most limos, a large aperture between the front and rear seats be opened on demand. Rear seat occupants will also enjoy two high definition 12-inch monitors linked to a suite of fully connected software as well as an HDMI port. Other luxurious amenities include theincredible Starlight Headliner, a bespoke clock, and a drinks cabin to store expensive whiskeys or fine wines.

Rolls-Royce didn't announce the pricing of this amazing back seat, but if you have to ask, you probably can't afford it.
