New Ford Bronco With 40-Inch Tires Makes The Raptor Look Small

Modern off-road vehicles are pretty wild. The2022 Ford Broncocomes with 35-inch tires when youget the Sasquatch Packageand the recently introducedBronco Raptor is even crazierwith 37-inch rubber. But what if even that isn't enough for your specific off-road needs? A company called Automotive Performance Group (APG) has the answer with a new Bronco ProRunner Conversion package that's absolutely bonkers.

The APG package adds long-travel suspension, fitment of up to 40-inch tires, and carbon-fiber front/rear fenders that widen the Bronco by up to 14 inches, making it almost 100 inches wide! APG lets customers choose from 3/4-inch, three-inch, and five-inch carbon fiber fender flares.

The long-travel suspension includes King Race Series coilovers plus 3.5-inch wider billet upper and boxed lower control arms, wider heavy-duty steering tie rods, raised and reinforced front shock towers, and air bump supports that are all designed and produced in-house by APG. With the 40-inch tires, APG says the kit enables 14.5 inches of wheel travel while the smaller 37-inch tires have a bit more travel at 16 inches.

In addition to the lifted suspension, the kit include a seven-inch wider Ultimate Dana 60 rear axle and an Ultimate Dana 44 front-drive unit. On the exterior, buyers get a carbon-fiber hood insert with LED marker lights and accessory mounts, and a new one-piece hardtop.
