我t's a Hellcat-powered limited edition called Black Velvet, and it costs a rather pretty penny.

我f you've got a hankering for a classic Dodge Charger but don't want to put up with classic car histrionics, eXoMod Concepts offers the perfect solution in the form ofre-bodied Challenger muscle cars, and now in carbon fiber too.

The company's latest offering is called the Black Velvet. This limited edition combines the best of both worlds, fitting theChallenger SRT Hellcatwith all-new carbon fiber bodywork that resemblesthe iconic 1968 Charger. The Black Velvet receives the 717-horsepower Hellcat engine as standard, although customers can opt for the mighty Redeye Jailbreak configuration with 807 hp.

And with a 400-lb weight reduction over the regular Challenger, the carbon-bodied Black Velvet should be even more rabid. Power is sent to the wheels via the eight-speed Torqueflite transmission, which can be controlled via steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters.

The exterior of this particular example features custom Black Pearl paintwork, which really accentuates the muscular lines of the Charger styling. A subtle Satin Graphite accent package underscores the sinister persona, while 20-inch five-spoke Forgeline wheels tie everything together beautifully. These grey-finished alloys are wrapped in 315/35 Nitto NT555 tires.

我nside, the cabin has been treated to Black Laguna leather. As you may have noticed, Black Velvet retains the Challenger's interior, which means you get to enjoy all the modern amenities found in the donor car.

"The Black Velvet is perhaps our most gorgeously menacing build," said Rick Katzeff, CEO of eXoMod Concepts. "It turns heads wherever it goes and blends the sought-after aesthetics of the late '60s with a modern twist and [a] powerful, reliable driving experience. It's definitely a favorite among enthusiasts and non-enthusiasts alike."

As with anything gorgeous and desirable, Black Velvet has an eye-watering price tag. Earlier this year, the companyrevealed a Charger recreationwith a Hennessey-tuned 1,000-hp motor. Unsurprisingly, it carried a price tag of $379,000. This time around, be prepared to pay $325,000 for the regular Black Velvet model and tack on an additional $20,000 if you desire the Redeye Jailbreak upgrade. That's a lot of money, but eXoMod puts a lot of effort into each vehicle it lovingly crafts.

Each vehicle takes 1,500 hours to build, suggesting no leaf is left unturned when it comes to producing these beauties. To put that figure into perspective, the average Rolls-Royce takes 450 hours to complete. Furthermore, Black Velvet comes with a full drivetrain warranty from Dodge, giving you added peace of mind.

What's more, no two vehicles will be the same, with eXoMod promising a true one-of-one vehicle. If you're interested, the company is now accepting orders.
