米ini Cooper S is Almost Ready To Roll

Last month it was the turn of thenew Mini Cooper, and now we have spy shots of its sportier stable mate the Mini Cooper S. The sporty city car's main distinguishing feature is the set of centrally-mounted exhaust pipes, while others include an add-on hood scoop, lower air intakes and a roof spoiler. Under the hood the Cooper S is tipped to utilize a 1.6-liter turbo gasoline unit, rated at around 180 horsepower in line with the current model. In JCW guise, expect that same unit to be turned up to near 220 hp.
