Mercedes S-Class Leaked Early

With such a vast model line-up, Mercedes-Benz is constantly rolling out new models. But few are as vital or as highly anticipated as the new S-Class. Expected to debut on May 15 ahead of a market introduction just months away, the 2014 Mercedes-Benz S-Class promises to incorporate redesigned styling, the latest in technological wizardry and the very height of luxury to serve as the German automaker's flagship sedan. We've already seen undisguised spy shots, but now the first apparently official image has surfaced.

Reportedly published by accident on one of the company's many websites, the image was quickly taken down, but that hasn't stopped it from circulating the internet with speed. Similar to the image that previewed the CLA that anchors the opposite end of the Benz's four-door lineup, the heavily Photoshop'd shot shows some pretty dynamic lines, possibly representing the AMG model (or at least the AMG appearance package). We don't have long to wait now before the car is revealed in full in just a couple of weeks, after which we can expect a whole raft of derivatives to help Mercedes fill the gap left by the departure of the Maybach line.
