Mazda Cancels CX-60 Live Premiere To Show Support For Ukraine

Mazda has been working on a whole new range ofSUVs and other vehicles, revealing the 2023Mazda CX-50crossover last year. Various parts of the world will be getting various models, but they will share many commonalities. The next crossover to be revealed is also thefirst plug-in hybrid vehicle for the brand并将called the CX-60. CarBuzzreached out to find out whether that was still happening, and the answer is simple: Mazda doesn't think that now is the time to engage in an upbeat, festive marketing campaign.

Concisely put, the reply from Mazda UK: "We had planned to host the live world premiere event for the Mazda CX-60 tonight, but given the terrible situation in Ukraine, we didn't believe celebrating our car launch in the usual way was appropriate at this time."

The brand clearly feels that revealing its new crossover would be insensitive to the plight of Ukrainians and would detract from more important matters that could severely affect the entire globe.
