Max Verstappen Clearly Doesn't Care About This Honda Special Edition

He looks like a hostage being forced to repeat a propaganda message.

We're here today because we're still upsetthe Honda eisn't in America. Right now, we don't even get an electric Honda here, though thee:Ny1will likely be the first. Despite that, the e is a huge sales success for Honda over in Europe.

一个pparently, the model is popular enough to warranta Formula 1-endorsed Limited Edition model。这是什么,麦克斯Verstappen认为“The Honda e Limited Edition is simply lovely. It has funky looks, a compact design, and is fun to drive. It's a great electric urban vehicle." Come on Max.

Take a moment to laugh at what is very obviouslynotMax Verstappen spitting out that overtly corporate tagline. Max doesn't sound remotely like that, and we're betting he doesn't even text like that. He sounds more like a very affable Dutchman, not a PR rep. Frankly, Max is not here for this car. He's here because a contract says he basically has to be.

He'd rather be outembarrassing the F1 grid againand fighting for points in the World Driver's Championship. Still, we appreciate the effort, especially the "average guy you passed at the office water cooler" energy he brings to leaning on that car.

Speaking of. We can't get the Honda e in the US, but it's still pretty neat. Frankly, the Limited Edition looks good, despite being a whopping $45,553 USD after currency conversion. The eye-catching red you see here is exclusive to the Limited Edition, which could honestly have a more creative name. Perhaps "Red e Bull" given the Verstappen endorsement. Feel free to use that, Honda.

一个lso new for the special edition is a host of piano black accents, like the black badging. Also new are lightly repainted wheels. Honestly, for the money, we were hoping for more than just some redone wheels that appear exactly like the stock ones. Still, at least Honda tried.

While the changes are somewhat weak, the new special edition car will be super rare. Honda says it's only going to make 50 units across Europe. Much as we have ragged on the special edition, we'd like to see the Honda e in the US. Small cars could grow in popularity here and we think this little one has some potential.
