The photo reveals an upmarket interior still wrapped in protective film. In a move that will be praised by new customers, the new QX60 offers a completely redesigned cabin that looks more modern and streamlined than the outgoing model. Notable changes include a smaller gear selector, reminiscent of those found in Mercedes-Benz cars, and a sleek new climate control screen that does away with those pesky buttons on the old model.

The infotainment system now floats atop the dashboard instead of being integrated into the rest of the design, and the air vents form part of one continuous strip across the dash fascia. The camouflaged car is also seen rolling down a suburban road with its taillights covered.

Infiniti's partnership with Mercedes-Benz is clearly paying dividends, as these pictures show a more tasteful space that will most certainly attract buyers in the luxury sedan market. The exterior of the new car is just as good to look at and features a wider stance, handsome shoulder line, and some aggressive wheel arches. The sloping roofline gives the impression of a coupe, but the QX60 will retain its third-row seat. Details about powertrain options are a tight kept secret for now but Infiniti says that the production version will arrive in 2021.
